Welcome back to another Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) training designed to equip New Sanctuary Coalition members, attorneys, volunteers, and advocates with the tools to support unaccompanied minors navigating the immigration system.

This training will be led by Theo Liebmann (he/him) | Clinical Professor of Law & Director of the Youth Advocacy Clinic at Hofstra University. Our goal is to expand our capacity to assist vulnerable children while creating a network of support among participants.

Due to the recent cuts in federal funding, many legal service providers have lost critical resources, leaving countless minors without adequate representation. This training is an opportunity to help fill that gap and ensure these children receive the support they need.
