Houses of worship have always been epicenters of the immigrant rights movement, either as safe spaces for families or as active partners in the fight for human dignity. We invite you to partner with the New Sanctuary Coalition to assert that welcoming refugees and protecting their humanity are values that your faith takes seriously. Get trained on how to assert your rights and protect your neighbors in the event of raids, and learn how your congregants can join vital efforts to serve our Friends facing deportation.

As of 2025, the US government is attempting to upend the traditional role of houses of worship as sanctuaries. But you still have the right to protect your space as all properties do. (Learn more at our resources page.)
