Be a part of the revolutionary effort to support people facing deportation with their paperwork as they navigate a hostile immigration system. “Pro se” means “for oneself” in Latin, and in legal parlance, it refers to people who are maneuvering legal proceedings without representation.

This training will focus on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), which can provide many young people with a path to citizenship. Learn the tools you’ll need to help our young friends (under 21) who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned acquire lawful permanent residence in the U.S. No previous experience necessary. Volunteers fluent in Spanish are especially needed, but all are welcome.
